Your baby has not had ANY urine or bowel movements since she was born?? Or just not very much?? If she has not had ANY, I would INSIST on seeing a specialist RIGHT AWAY - TODAY!!; there could be problems with a bowel obstruction or such which could also be why she is not wanting to drink. In fact, I would insist on seeing a specialist even IF she's taking a bit of formula - a partial bowel obstruction could cause the same symptoms. I haven't heard of CAH medications producing these results. As far as breastfeeding goes, just keep on pumping! I know it's hard work (and seems so futile when you are not giving it directly to your baby), but you need to keep at it if you want to have enough milk to breastfeed later; this means pumping every 3-4 hours - day AND night - like a newborn's feeding schedule, if you want your milk to come in. I am very concerned as to why baby is not digesting any food. Please be insistant (bother as many people as you have to!) to see if you can't find SOMEONE who can tell you what's going on, and please act quickly. I will pray for your little one. Please let us know how she's doing. God's blessings.
