Hi, I am sorry that you are having such a bad time with your baby. Although my daughter is 3 yrs old now, I can still remember the confusions and worries when she was first born and had a crisis. They also got a tube down her nose to feed her as she was throwing up whenever she feeds. You mentioned that they have started her on the medication, is it cortisone? Lack of cortisol in the body would cause abnormal electrolytes, vomitting, refuses feed and severe lethargicness in the baby, but with the cortisone replacement, you should see some changes soon. I don't know about the symtoms that you mentioned about unable to digest and no bowel movement, does not sound CAH related to me in my experience but I guess the other parents in the board might be able to give you some more help in this but I would definitely get more help and consult more specialists about it. Don't let the CAH stop you from asking more questions until the problem is fixed because both might not be related. I do not mean to frighten you but though your baby has CAH, she might have other problems as well which is causing her not being able to digest properly. I hope that your daughter gets well soon and all the best.SueC
