Just a quick update on the tablet front.  I received a letter from Douglas Pharmaceuticals last night to advise me that they have now had the go ahead for funding of the 1mg pill.  All that is needed apparently is a rough ball park figure of how much is needed to be made so that they can calculate how much needs to be funded here within NZ.  

I can't believe how fast the ball is rolling here with this regard.  Technically the funding part hardly takes any time at all and the tablets can be made straight away.  he is even asking me how many I think we will need for NZ! LOL!  I mean how do you start to calculate something like that since at present so many kids must be on broken 5mg pills and we would have to get all the scripts in first before knowing.  I am amazed! 

Looks like we could be on 1mg pills sooner than I initially thought.  

He asked me what I thought the demand was for abroad where they were concerned.  I mean where do you start?  I wonder how they are able to calculate how many 5mg are needed where funding is concerned.  I would have thought that it would be unwise to set a limit with something like that would you not think?  The demand would be quite phenominal as we alone on Ash's current dosing regime need 1'900 tablets (1mg) per year on just a basic levels with normal health.  Mmmmm tough one...
