I believe the point that I was TRYING to make was that if you are coming from a short family on both sides---every damn cm counts does it not? Why would I want my son to end up much much smaller than  myself?  Do you suppose psychologically this would happen to be very good for him---especially if he found out as an adult that it was over treatment of his CAH in childhood? 

Whay have you just skated over all the side effects Deb?  Don't they matter to your child?  Sorry but THEY DO to me!  I could love my son if he was loking like a toad to put it bluntly---but if he was an unhealthy toad with osteoporosis and weight problems and depression---It would not make me a good  parent to IGNORE the problems causing it wouldn't it?
