Kelly LeightHi all!
I have to mirror Carol's remarks here. Please check everything out with your Peds Endo carefully before changing the timing and amount of the doses! Not all new theories prove to be helpful in the long run.
Also, in March, there is a CAH consensus conference being held in Boston. 21 peds endos from around the world who are considered the world's experts (it was by invitation only) are coming together to address many of these treatment issues. I wrote a long memo to the Chair, Dr. Walter Miller, stating the areas I felt needed to be addressed, including dosing and timing of those doses. The panel will be issuing a report that will be published, and Dr. Miller promised to share it with CARES Foundation, Inc. I will post it on the web site when I get it. So, hopefully we will have some better answers soon.
Take care,
Kelly R. Leight, Executive Director
