Danny CarltonI didn't want to say anything, but you are right not all of this adds up. The most virilized female with CAH I've ever heard of still had no "testicles" and if there was that much virilization and the CAH wasn't caught until adulthood, the person would have shot up like a bean sprout the first five or so years, then been left fairly short thereafter, much too short to get into the military. It sounds like misdiagnosis to me. Even with one adrenal gland removed there would have been a massive amount of androgens produced, causing the excessive, initial growth spurt that would have left the person very short. There's also the astronomical odds of someone with that severe CAH avoiding infections, stress and disease for 31 years.
Rudy, you need to see an endochrinoligist that is familiar with the various conditions that can cause ambiguous gender. Your symptoms do not sound like CAH at all.
