  My 10 month old daughter had diarrhea early January.  For 4-5 days.  Her endo doctor said the her oral cortef was sugar based and added to her problem.  She ended up dehydrated and was put in the hospital.  She had to have a solu cortef shot every 8 hours for 2 - 3 days.  She is much much better now and thank goodness for her doctor to ask questions, because I am still so new to all of this.

  How old is your son and what medication(s) is he on? 

   I hope he gets better soon.  I know it is bad to have him sick with an upset stomach &  worry about his medication too.  Good luck.
