It seems that this technology allows you to tailor the polymer breakdown speed to a specific requirement. I found their next patent and it talks about polymers developed to breakdown over a 1-4 day period depending on the clinical need. Reducing the matrix breakdown to a 6 hour time period with an initial breakdown dose seems feasible from their patent discription.
