I took my 3 year old son (SWCAH) to the dentist for the first time. Unfortunately he has four little cavities in his front teeth. Our dentist does not want to fix these cavities in his office but would rather have this done in the hospital with IV sedation. I have left a message with our endo (who is two hours away) to see how much of an increase of his meds is needed before this procedure is done. The IV sedation makes me nervous but the dentist said it is necessary because of his age and his lack of cooperation during the dental exam. Anyone else have any experience or input?Barbara
