We do an interim dosing at the first sign of illness.  Kristin normally takes 15 mg hydrocortone in the morning and 10 mg in the evening.  The interim dose is 15 mg 3 times a day so we go from a total of 25 per day to 45mg per day.  Stress dose for her is 20 mg 4 times a day which = 80 or just a little more than triple.
