Both parents must carry the gene for CAH in order to produce a child with CAH. Even with very poor management of CAH, the child are usually not dwarfs. The girls reach 5 feet and the boys - 5'2" (short but some people with CAH are that short). Taking cortef and florinef is necessary but it is in pill form and not like a diabetic that has to take shots three times a day and blood samples 5 times a day.  CAH children are normal (mentally). So relax.... and hopefully some day you will be blessed with a baby.
