Salt Tablets Anyone?

I have found this board again after a long time gone. Nice to meet all of the new people here. My daughter AManda is salt wasting. She is also suffering from insulin resistance. My question is, that her endo is really pushing her salt intake. She apparently is not getting enough in her food, so he pushed her to really salt her food alot. I questioned if we could get salt tablets for her. I know that they used to dilute some when she was an infant to make a sodium chloride solution for  her bottles. But when I asked the pharmacy he said they don't have them anymore. The Dr. was under the impression that they did, so do any of you know anything about this? I'd really like to get some so I would be able to more accurately know that she was getting the correct salt intake daily. If she over salts her food, she won't eat it. I thought a certain dose pill would make it easier all around.

Thanks to all in advance.
