Is there a certain age at which they start doing plasma renin and androstenidione (sp) tests ? Our endo only orders the 17-hydroxyprogesterone levels every three months and a blood sodium level every month. Shouldn't there be a specific time at which the blood should be drawn to check the hormone levels ? Would appreciate any comments/suggestions . Thank you.
