Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knew the formulation of Cortef. Receintly, Olivia (age 3) had 4 cavities filled (1 needed a cap!). There are a few possibilities as to why. One is poor nutrition while she lived in China. Another contributing factor could be sugar in the Cortef. With the morning and afternoon doses she gets something to drink either when taking the Cortef, or very shortly thereafter. With the 10 pm dose (I followed the exerience of others), I just tap her teeth, she opens her mouth a little, I put the tablet behind the teeth, she chews it up without waking up. It worked real well. The ped dentist said that he didn't know about Cortef, but many of the liquids that we give our children can be up to 40% sugar. He recommends that you always give a drink of water (to get all med out of the mouth) after taking any medication -- liquid or tablet. Anyone else have any experience here?JanetD
