 I had the HBP with the dex also. I did NOT have to go off the dex because of the BP. The doctors DID decrease how much of the dex I took each day. Also, I was put on a modified bed rest. Those two things kept the BP down. I dont know if the decrease in the dex was still enough to be of use... but I figured better something rather than nothing. Something to consider for you. Another option is to take a medication that would lower the Blood Pressure.

 If nothing works than it is better to go off the dex. BUT.... try other options first!!   :)  :)
