I also had this problem when I ordered from my mail-order pharmacy.  I am in TX, but the pharmacy is in St. Louis, MO.  I FREAKED out, went to my local pharmacy and they had pleanty, got my 3-mo supply from the mail order pharmacy about 2 weeks later.  I have Cortef stashed everywhere (and florinef, at all relatives homes), so I was not totally worried at the time, but it was the first time I got a letter telling me that it was out of stock at the mail order pharmacy and the manufacturer could not give a date when they would receive it. 

However, I am concerned if others are also having this problem - so when I go to see my endocrinologist tomorrow morning I will ask to get an RX for backup.
