Thanks Sandra, I got the info on the confrence.  I am in Ft.Worth Texas, would like to attend, but not sure if I will be able to.  I really hate to miss this chance, but wonder if I should make the effort?

My daughter 10.5 yrs, is doing great.  We saw a new endocrinologist today, Carla Scott at Cooks-Ft.Worth Childrens Medical Center.  Really like her a whole bunch.  Dr. Flannery left in December, will miss him, but actually I think this timing is perfect.  I think it is nice for my daughter to have a female dr. at this age.  She said my daughter is in the early stages of puberty, a little on the back end of normal development there - which is great news for me!  She did a bone age scan, slightly advanced age - 1.5 to 2 yrs.  She is tall now, but comes from a family of giants so we are not concerned one bit with her being unusually short.  She is 4'11' now, and as I said earlier, comes from a family of very tall people.  At 5'9", I am one of the "short" females. My dad was 6'5", mom 5'11", sister 6', 3 female cousins and one neice over 6'2", male cousins start at 6'3".    My husband is 6'2", his mom was short but his dad is 6'4".  So you see, my daughter has genitic tendancys to be tall.  With the CAH she might be a "normal" sized woman!  (dr says probably 5'6"-5'7")

Of course, the bloodwork was done and we will see what that says, but she has always been very healthy and good blood work results.
