Hi, please anyone who can help me with the stomach flu stuff.... my 3 yrs old daughter was down with a flu sinced last week, with the usual cough/stuffy nose/high fever and I was informed by the doctor that it is a viral infection that is going around that she might have picked up from her playschool. Since its a viral infection, there is nothing that can be done for Carmen except to double dose her for the fever and wait it out. My concern is that although the fever is OK now, but she started to vomit after eating sinced last night, almost 2 out of 4 feedings. I double dose her again, gave her plenty of fluids and salt. She seems OK after throwing up, but I am still very concerned. I called up the doctor and was told that there is no such thing as a stomach flu. Her stomach is bloated and she complained that its hurts. Is there anything that I can give her to settle her stomach? Is double dosing enough? Thanks in advance.
