I hear ya. We have to pay full price for the Cortef ourselves because it is not on my employer's "formulary list" (it was on the list of the last school district I taught at). I spent 2 hours on the phone about this once and got nowhere except the runaround. The Cortef runs us $18 a month which isn't really going to put us out but the part that really bothers me is that I only work 1/2 time and so my employer only pays 1/2 insurance so we are paying $425 per month! for insurance (which is 1/2 of Blue cross of CA!!! outrageous!) This same company told a friend of mine who applied before becoming pregnant and then before she received an answer got pregnant and BC found out she was pregnant. They told her to reapply after the baby was born and IF the baby was healthy!!! The nerve. errrr I could go on......Julia S
