I do the same. Shot after one time vomiting. You can usually tell if it's a bug or a one time gag thing, so why wait for the next vomit. I was slow to take her to the ER the last time and my endo told me I should have taken her in. Next time I'll give the shot and buzz her right in. Can't hurt to have them looked at. Don't be intimidated by a doctor's response, he/she may just be having a busy time and not fully realize the extent of your child's illness. My best to you.
