my daughter's bone age test
3/20/02 4:29 PM

Hi, this is my first time on this board. I frequent the locah board. But recent events lead me here to ask a question. Yesteday my daighter had the bone age test done, she just turned 10 and her test result that she has the bones of a 12 year old. She was tested at birth like all newborns in Georgia for Classic CAH. Negative. Her bloodwork results from yesterday won't come back for at least a week and a half. Does it definatley mean she has an endocrine disorder or is there still hope that she does not have locah? She is not obese or even very large, which can also cause aging of the bones. My 5 year old son also had the stim test and x ray done. His xray came back normal. I know it boils down to me having to wait for the results, I was just hoping for some reassurance. Well wishes for everyone..........Michelle in Victoria Texas
