I wonder if anybody can help me, or has experienced similar with their child. My daughter is having severe mood swings going from being a nice normal happy go lucky child to being a totally over the top emotional aggressive little monster. She seems to have no control over these episodes, or over herself either, the merest thing seems to trigger her off and usually I have to end up holding her, sitting with her untill I can calm her down. We are going from bouncing off the wall highs to very quite, tired and pale lows. Her endo insists that her levels are fine, she is on 4mg Hysone 3 times daily and 0.05mg Florinef twice daily (note we live in Australia). I have also had her glucose levels tested as there was a concern that she may be hypoglycemic and they have come back normal. She has complained of sudden instense headaches in the middle of her forehead spreading across to her right temple, and she will actually grab her head. But I am having trouble convincing her doctor that these headaches are occuring and also that I am having problems with her extreme behaviour, they are just saying it is normal 4yr old child testing me, as it is mainly in the home environment towards the end of the afternoon that she goes off the deep end. At kindy and daycare she is naturally a very forthright and outgoing child but I am worried that these behavioural problems will start to happen there, they have had a few problems but nothing to the extreme that happens at home. Maybe it just me, and my mother who looks after her twice a week, but we don't think so! I am honestly at my wits end and just do not know what to do next. Has anybody any ideas?KarenS
