Rudy and Sandra

I think he has that other more rare kind of CAH (what was it 11 beta hydroxilase???) that does the damage to the males instead of the females, but isn't AIS.  Or the other even rarer version that was found in that Mennonite community in the US that wasn't 21 OHD either.  Rudy, did you get the number of the enzyme deficiency?  There are other types of CAH, 21 OHD is just the most common.  You're right Sandra, it didn't sound like 21 OHD.... did you see that document that was put out by Cornell a long time ago?  If you want it, email me and I'll send it to you.  It describes up to three (I think) types of CAH related adrenal insufficiencies, with an emphasis on 21 OHD.  Don't forget that there's also "hypoplasia" instead of "hyperplasia" too.  That has the same initials, but is a different condition entirely.

Take Care,

Adina
