AdinaHI read about a facial hair cream (and saw a commercial once) that can only be prescribed by a dermatologist, and it is specifically for women with facial hair problems. The reason I specifically remembered it is because my mother has hypothyroid and so it has caused her some facial hair problems. The main thing they said that I can remember though is not to use it if you were pregnant or were planning to become pregnant because it can cause serious birth defects. I know the name was pronounced "VAN'-neh-kah", but I'm not sure how to spell it. You might call your primary care physician and ask if he or she can prescribe it for you without having to see a dermatologist.
good luck!
