AmandasmomKaren:
Amanda is 21 and was diagnosed with late onset CAH at the age of 16. She takes dexamethasone and Demulin (birth control pill) to regulate her periods. She still had lots of facial and body hair and was very unhappy. Her endo prescribed spironolactone. It is a diuretic that somehow binds to the free testosterone in the blood. It took about 6-9 months, but she has no more problem with facial or body hair. She just has the "normal" peach fuzz that all women have! I used Vaniqa for a while for my postmenopausal facial. But I had to stop since it really irritated my facial and I started breaking out in pimples. I have heard that it does work well.
Good luck!
