rash on palms of hands and feet

My daughter has had a terrible rash on the palms of her hands for two weeks now. We are entering our third week. Neither one of us have slept a full night in two and a half weeks because she scratches and itches ALLLLLL night long. I am literally running into walls because I am deliriously tired. It started as what we thought was poison ivy in March. Took her to the doc. said it was poison ivy. Treated it as poison ivy. Still no improvement by week 2, took her back. Same week took her to a dermatologist. Still baffled. They decided it is no longer poison ivy, she has an allergy to something. Have disected her entire life trying to figure out what she could be allergic to. They say with kids it is a drug or a bug that causes rashes. Now it has traveled to her feet. Nothing like her hands, barely noticable but can itch at times. We have treated her with every anit itch cream in this entire world. She is taking Claritin tabs tonight. We tried a million things. I will be travelling to another dermatologist tomorrow. They even tripled her Cortef for two days, doubled two days, and now back to normal. That was to work the allergic reaction out of her body. Usually they prescribe steriods for this type of rash. Didn't work, just made her bounce off walls. My question is, has anyone had a mysterious rash lately? We live near woods and have frequented them. Perhaps it was something in the woods but come on, we live in Ohio. How much can you get into in the winter? It has been quite warm all winter. Poison ivy can still infect in the winter, I found out last year. Any suggestions? Any words of wisdom? Sorry about the poor spelling and what have you. I am deliriously tired and desperate. Thank you.
