AdinaHAimee,
What he said and the point of the conversation when he said it was uncalled for. I hope you didn't take offense at my comment to rate him on WebMD. : ) I meant it in a nice way. I hope you give him a bad rating though, and list the comment that he made. I'm sorry he hurt your feelings. My comment was just that you might be able to get a small amount of poetic justice or be able to have the last word.
I suggest you report him to your insurance company as well. Sometimes they have no idea. We reported hospital head nurse Donna Mc Pherson who took Savannah off her IV for three hours during a crisis when she was a few days old (before confirmed diagnosis and medication). It was in the middle of a hospital transfer to a higher level of care. She also cancelled our ambulance, said Cigna wouldn't cover it, and didn't tell us for three hours until five o'clock when she thought Cigna had closed and told us there was nothing we could do about it. We called Cigna who offered another ambulance, but at that point we didn't want to wait and drove her ourselves to Phoenix Children's where they hooked her up immediately and were waiting for us. Our insurance company filed a complaint through Savannah's case manager and the nurse in question was given a warning by the hospital staff and it went on her record. We were sent a form letter apology card from the hospital a few months later with a notation that the grievance was on file. Hopefully your insurance company can at the very least file a complaint on your behalf. With as much as we all pay them that's the least they should do.
Good luck,
Adina
