AdinaHDanny we have Cigna too, although they don't pay for DNA testing (the AZ plan).
I have a friend who works at two combined local hospitals in the coding dept, and she said during our struggles with Cigna that no matter what happens to always be persistant because the squeeky wheel always gets the grease. With Savannah we got four denial letters before we got what we wanted. Lisa, if you can get some letters from physicians and mail them to the ins. company director certified mail, it does help your case. Make sure you get the reasons for the denial in writing. Sometimes the reasons are just plain false and don't make sense. I also have another friend who has gotten a congressperson and other state officials involved in insurance woes. That is an option too. Check your policy thoroughly first though and make sure you're following the right steps so they can't use that against you.
