Our experience with severe milk allergy (our non-CAH son) was that hives usually appear on the whole body, and this was concured with our allergist. I've never heard of it causing a problem on the hands and feet only; hives related to food allergies usually occur around the mouth, neck, back, stomach, arms, and on the whole body if severe enough. If the allergy is very severe, the person may have trouble breathing, sound raspy when they breathe and/ or vomit when they eat foods containing the allergen. I will ask again: have you had her checked for excema?? It sounds all too familiar to me. E-mail me if you want to chat more about it. Take care & God's blessings.
