ZanI have a sixteen year old son with swcah
He is on both cortef and prednisolone because just one wasn't working for him, he needed the way both work short term and longer lasting just to get throw the day.
There are draw backs but work about it the prednisolone it can make their bone weak and braek easy. Not just deit stop it. My son was put on calcium to help his bones. Yes test were done and his bones were like them of a older person some one in their 60 or 70's.
There are other problems to watch out for with this their bones, and eyes on it. nothing is to bad to stop doing what is right for them or hurt them because we don't want our children to go throw more, just needed to help out if we can. What has happened to my child may not happen to others. I want to know what others have found out or their child has gone throw, best to know all then to be surprised down the road because some one didn't think it would or could happen to others.
Always ask your doctor any questions you have, a good one will give you answers or point you to were you can get some.
