WHOA! Thank God the two of you are alright. I had an accident when my daughter was 2 and a half. She was the first thing I was panicked over. A lady pulled out in front of us during a very hot day that turned rainy. My daughter had been crying because earlier she had been upset about going into a pool. It was extremely hot, something triggered her to not want to go into the pool, and that was it. So I got her in the car, blasted the air, and took her for some food. Thought perhaps she needed some refueling. STILL crying, wanting to go home. Took the food to go, driving along and WHAM. Lady pulls out in front of me. It made my daughter cry even harder. It was time for her meds., had plenty of time to get home for them earlier. This was a HUGE lesson for me. I did not have her afternoon dose on me thinking I had PLENTY of time to get home and medicate her. Well after the unexpected accident, we were really under the gun with her meds. NEVER will I EVER leave home with out an extra dose in my purse just in case we get held up somewhere. She could have REALLY used the extra meds. at the time and had considered injecting her if I did not get her fluids. But she calmed down and drank her water in the car. Thank God you are alright.
