I wanted to share a conversation that I had with a former endo ( I had to switch endos because of a change in insurance) During a visit, I asked, " Will I lose my hair because of the CAH" ? He said," No....that only happens to people that are not being treated for their excess androgens."

Also, he went on to tell me about how prevalant hair loss is even in woman that do not have CAH. We talked about Rogaine for women and we also talked about hair replacement surgery. I know someone that had it done and it looks AWESOME.

I understand your concern over losing your hair. I’m losing some hair also although it’s not at my temples. For me, the hair loss has come from being anemic for so many years. Recently, the anemia was bad that I spent a couple of days in the hospital.
