Oral Surgery

Our son is 17 yrs old, has SWCAH=17 hydroxypregneleone Deficiency, my husband just took him to our regular dentist for his check up and came home and said that they want to remove his wisdom teeth, they are impacted.  He said they do them in his office and just use novacaine. I was wondering has anyone else had to go through this?  I am going to put a call into his endo this week and talk to him.  I am not comfortable with them doing it just in the regular dentist office.  Seems it might be to stressful for him and even though the dentist is great, I worry if the office or the dentist will be prepared or equipped to handle a crisis.  I thought I just ask someone on the board to see if they have ever been through this procedure and how they reacted.  Sorry for such a long posting.
