I have two daughters with cah. The oldest is 15 and when she started school she couldn’t grasp reading. they tested her for disabilites but she had none. They then put her in a one on one class where within a year she caught up with and surpassed her class. She was in the third grade when she accomplished this. Later her sister was born and that is when i had a nurse tell me that children who undergo anethesisa usally are slow at first picking up on things. My oldest is now 15 and is on average an A and B student. Her sister is 6 and has developmentally delayed , sensory intergration dsyfunction, she needs speech occupational and physical therapy. I never associated any of her problems with cah, never even really thought about it. Ther are so many things that can cause learning problems that sometimes it is had to pin it down. It is quiet possible that is where LD’S come from you can drive yourself crazy trying to figure it out. I thank the lord for sending me my last child everyday she seems to teach me more than i teach her. I hope that everything turns out well for you. You will be in our prayers. Miamia
