I really am very sorry. When I implied that Danny might be leaning towards the theory of evolution, and by using the same kind of racist terminology (’more evolved’) he railed against, I was only being mischievous. This seems wholly inappropriate in the light of your post.

When my son was diagnosed, a family member read the above study and we agreed that "well, we’re both carriers!" (never get stressed out, very rarely ill, recover quickly from injuries etc.)

We were right, but of course this small (theoretical) positive is far outweighed by the blunt reality of my son having CAH.
