This is an interesting point to ponder, if there are many CAH children and adults who have certain learning disabilities it would be worth while to see what else they have in common.  i.e. meds, doses etc.

My daughter has always been very advanced in language and vocabulary, she began speaking at 9 months of age, but doesn’t seem advanced in any other area. She will begin school in the Fall so I will be anxious to see what happens.

To parents with concerns about their children’s disabilities and education just keep involved and push for the help you need. As an educator, I have never seen students classified to obtain government funds, it simply doesn’t work that way. If your child needs extra help in an area, it is better to have them classified and receive that help than to not and have them get lost in the mix.
