Hi

I had very heavy bleeding which I had fixed with a hysterectomy last year aged 44. It has taken me 12 months to get over the op however it has been the best thing to happen. My gynae didn’t take the ovaries so I didn’t have instant menopause but it is lovely not to have the heavy bleeding - in the end it was lasting up to3 weeks - very draining. Now I have more energy etc.

I know that this is not an option for all of you out there but it is a suggestion.
