Florinef replaces the mineralocorticoids that your adrenal glands do not produce. These hormones control the mineral levels in the blood, which seems to affect sweating (both my CAH kids sweat quite alot) and it would seem logical that kidney and gall stones (which are the result of mineral build up) could be related to the lack of fined tuned control of your mineralocorticoid levels.
