So good to hear from another grown woman who is well adjusted. I think it bring some things into perspective that CAH doesn’t have to ruin your life.

I sent you an email about a workshop that we just had in Houston. I am sorry you missed it.

As far as the florinef, do you still take it? Is your plasma renin elevated? "They" say that all CAH people have salt wasting tendencies and maybe you are borderline Simple virilizer /Salt waster. I would question why you are taking it as well. Sometimes they  use it to decrease the amount of cortisone the patient needs. I don’t know how this works with pred. or dex though.  I would be interested to find out what they say.  My son’s doctor here in Houston insists that my son be put back on florinef. I have check with two other endo’s in NY who my son saw back in Oct and they both insist that he does not need it, so I haven’t given it to him. His renin was not that high and everything else, lytes, etc...were perfect. So, questioning your doctors is not bad idea. I swear sometimes I think they just do what they need to do to cover their butts!
