Well, she’s done it again! My daughter is the one who keeps twisting ankles, breaking bones, etc. This time she has torn the cartilage in her right knee and is scheduled to have arthoscopic surgery on Thursday. I’ve had the same surgery before so I know it’s not a serious operation, but it still makes me a little uneasy. We have coordinated with the endocrinologist who has given orders to the orthopedic surgeon for Kristin’s IV at the hospital and we will stress dose her the night before and in the morning give her 50 mg of Solu-Cortef(she can’t take orally because of the surgery). Still, putting her to sleep and doing any invasive procedure seems pretty serious to me when you have CAH. Please remember her in your prayers that all will be ok.Kay
