Kaye I hope you dont mind me asking but did they keep a check on your daughter’s b/p after surgery and if so, for how long?  My son has had lots of surgery and they normally give him 100 mg hydro IV pre anaesthetic.  Last year they only gave him 50 mgs and he also had problems.  We have since changed Endo’s who has written a new protocol and this says it is important to check BMI during and shortly after surgery.  Another problem I have had with some staff is that they don’t realise that a bigger dose of hydro does not last in the system longer!  I hope your daughter recovers soon.
