I am looking for basic information regarding this disorder as related to boys...Symptoms and complications if left untreated. My husband a set of fraternal twin boys, age 11. One twin began growing quite rapidly about 3 years ago as compared to his brother. We thought nothing of it, however before Christmas this year, his voice began to change. I am unsure of other bodily changes as he lives with his biological mother and we will get him for the summer.

I have been exploring many websites and the information begins to make some sense....my husband has history on his father’s side of heart complications (stress related????) and death by the age of 50. My husband has high blood pressure.

Is this worth visiting our family doctor about?
