Hi my name is Alisha and I didn’t get my period until I was 16yrs old because I started taking medicine.  But then when I stopped taking the medicine I didn’t get my period for a year after my first period then I didn’t get my period again for five months after that.  Then my period just stopped completly until I went on birth control pills.  Now I take the birth control pills every day and I get my period regularly now.  I didn’t know why I never got my period until I found out that CAH is the reason why.  I also was started on spirnolactone 100mg a day.  I am going to have to take this medicine for life.
