While Upjohn may have large pockets, we can’t start storming them with pitch forks and torches the first hint of scandal. Ambulance chasers love that kind of reaction. Currently there is only one company that makes any kind of hydrocortisone -- Upjohn. A careless lawsuit, filed as an attemopt to scare them into a quick settlement, might scare them into dropping hydrocortisone all together. If it costs them more to make it than they can earn from it, why would they continue? How many kids would die then? I’ve read plenty of descriptions of how kids have died with CAH, and this is the first time I’ve heard anyone mention the Cortef suspension.Danny Carlton
