hi, i’m simone - i’m new to the board

i have late-onset CAH as well ... i started developing breasts, pubic hair and underarm hair at age 6 1/2.   My mom took me to an endocrinologist who turned out to be a quack, had no idea what he was doing, and did not provide me with any meds or treatment - in fact, scared the heck out of my mother by telling her that my enlarged pituitary gland might be a brain tumor. 

Anyway, even without treatment, I did not get my period till age 12.
