Gagging/ Touchy Stomach & Decreased Meds

Last Oct. we moved to a different part of the country and are now seeing a new endo. He seems fantasitic and is really up on the latest treatments, etc. Within a month, it was discovered that our 4 yr old SW daughter was oversuppressed, and they lowered her dose slightly. After another 5 months or so, bloodwork showed that she was still slightly oversurpressed, so they lowered her dose yet again. My question (and concern) is this: each time they’ve lowered her dose, she goes through this period (4-8 weeks +) where she is very "gaggy", especially in the mornings. She has never been a big breakfast eater, and has always had a touchy stomach (like her mom!), but this seems more extreme. All she has to do is look at or smell something that she doesn’t like, and she starts gagging; if I don’t take her or the offensive odor away, I’m afraid she’d throw up! This happens for everything from certain foods or opening the garbage can, to rotting leaves in the compost and her brother’s "morning breath" (true .. all pretty offensive!). DOES ANYONE have an experience with this when dosages of the hydrocortisone are decreased?? I’m thinking along the lines of a withdrawal symptom?? Also, she seems to be needing more sleep than usual. She’s plenty active during the day, but seems to need 1-2 more hours of sleep per night, compared with before the dosage change. I guess it could possibly be a growth spurt (although there is no increased or decreased appetite), or maybe I’m just used to her being TOO hyper because she was oversurpressed?? I’m thinking to give her endo a call and see what he says. Any ideas?! Thanks.
