Well, I read through every post.  This issue is a heated one for me.  I have 2 SWCAH children and they had all kinds of problems on the liquid cortef.  I spoke with Upjohn ATLEAST ONCE A WEEK for a year trying to convince them to put out warnings or pull the product.  They were well aware of the problem  a year before they took it off the market.  Even after I yanked my children off the liquid and had them successfully converted to pills (which took about a year), I still followed up with Upjohn to see what , if anything, they planned to do.  I was diligent to hold them accountable and have them fix the problem.  Even though my children were ok, I imagined another child with CAH taking the Liquid and really being terribly undertreated and suffering in some way as a result.  I did not stop until it was off the market!  I do  think Upjohn was negligent and they know it.  I am eternally gratful that my children did not suffer any long term negative side effects from this ordeal.  I attribute this to my persistence in being my children’s advocate and some good luck.  Need more info, e-mail me.  CEOMOM82828@aol.com  Roberta, I’m with you on this one.  I feel for you.  I’ve been there where you trust the drug companies and the endos, and discover they were wrong and your motherly instinct was right all along!  I just had some good fortune that unfortunately you did not.  If I can help in any way, please contact me.
