When I was in the hospital they did a battery of tests. One of them was for dhea, the result was below normal range. When I got out of the hospital, I went to see a new Endo and I took the test results with me. He couldn’t answer for me what dhea was for or maybe he didn’t want to deal with someone with CAH. Either way, I still would like to know what it is and why it is low.
