That is not how they are supposed to work.  The drug was reclassified in the Tier system.  Which is supposedly a function of its efficacy, price, and brand/generic.

I read (somewhere, here I believe) that the patent for Cortef is expired.  Perhaps that is the reason.  Florinef was reclassified as well, but most of us know it is now available as a generic.

Has anyone found Cortef as a generic.
