I’d just like to say I admire you immensely for taking such a stance.

It’s a tough call but I agree entirely with you regarding the unknown effects. It is okay for some to state that they did this or that without harm. How lucky they were. However, to contemplate such now after long term studies have been done and the results not that positive, I have to say that CHOICE is everything and you sound very confident not just in being able to cope with any outcome NOT taking dex in pregnancy. BUT also in having the confidence it takes in caring for your Daughter in years to come.

As for anon---I have to say what is your problem? Would you rather have been affected by the negative side effects of dexamethasone? Thats not a pretty picture either really is it?

Good luck Jennifer!!

To ALL.

It is all about an individuals CHOICE and you guys supporting someone in that. Not making others feel wrong for making strong and intelligent decisions--espeically when they appear to have done MUCH research and spent time contemplating what they value and can live with most.
